Or a slanted one :/ question markShould I buy a small eyeshadow brush or a medium one?
It depends on your own comfort and eye size.
I prefer a smaller eyeshadow brush, just so I can really control where my eyeshadow ends up. I have fairly large eyes, so you'd think I'd like a medium or large one.
Here's what I use http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/imag鈥?/a>
I suppose it's a medium-small size. I love it.
And the slanted one your talking about it considered an eyeliner brush. Personally, I use it for eyeliner, my water lines, and the inner corners of my eyes. It's generally not ideal for applying eyeshadow onto your lid, but you COULD still use it if you really wanted, but it would bend the brush and mess it up.
Another eyeshadow brush I think is necessary is a blending brush.. Might wanna consider one of those too.
Hope this helps and good luck in whatever you choose!Should I buy a small eyeshadow brush or a medium one?
It would depend on what part of the brush is small: the head, the bristles or the handle?
A small head with long bristles is good for precision application. A wide head with short bristles is good for applying eyeshadow on large areas, like all over your eyelid or on your browbone. A short handle is really just preference: that bit's totally up to you.
As always, keep your brushes clean by washing them weekly in shampoo and warm water. Let them dry completely before using them. If they are made of real hairs, they will become soft and shiny, plus they will smell like the shampoo you used, which is a plus!
Good luck!
*EDIT: A slanted brush is good for applying eyeshadow to the inner corners of your eyes, and not very good for general eyeshadow application.
small brushes are awesomeee!:)
