If there's 2 MAC eyeshadow colors I should buy what is it?

I'm about to buy 2 MAC eyeshadow colors to start with. Which 2 eyeshadow color should I buy? It has to be something that I can wear on a daily basis etc.

i have brown eyes too.


i'd buy carbon (to smoke out any eye look) and humid (really pretty emerald green).


however, for something to wear on a daily basis, go for something like twinks or gorgeous gold, and then the carbon. i think carbon is an absolute musthave, but you dont have you buy that until later.


it really depends on the colors that you like to wear....a good pink/purple is stars n rockets, a good brown is showstopper


a good purple is star violet, and a good highlighter is phloof, shroom, ricepaper (even the name sounds cool).

Well this really depends on the color of your eyes and the coloring of your skin.


Do not make the eyeshadow more dominant between the eyes and the shadow. Matching these two can be a mistake, so you need to almost..contradict these. I found this basic guide on choosing:





* Blue: Rich warm browns, warm taupes and soft peaches


* Green and Hazel: Golden browns, warm taupes, deep purples, soft peaches and soft violets.


* Grey: Charcoal, cool brown and purple.


* Brown: Knock yourself out...you lucky women get to wear any color you want!





Don't pick something too bright, or else you'll just be masking your features. Buy something that brings your features out.
