I need some new eyeshadow and don't know what to buy?

I don't need mascara or eyeliner, but I'm basically lost on what kinds of brands/colors I should buy for my eyeshadow. I know my eyeshadow typically needs to match my outfit, so color-wise I'm not so hung up about, but what is some good, preferably cheap eyeshadow that would look good with dark brown eyes? I find that golds, bronzes, silvers/grays, and purples flatter brown eyes very well. i personally like MAC eyeshadows but a good drugstore brand is the Loreal HIP line, they're like always BOGO at CVS, or you can find coupons for them in the Sunday paper.





and btw, matching eyeshadow with your outfit is usually a recipe for disaster, it can look terribly tacky. a better rule of thumb is, if you're wearing plain colors like white, black, gray, etc. then you can pull off a more colorful eyeshadow. if your outfit is really colorful, keep your eyeshadow neutral. this helps avoid your eyeshadow and outfit colors clashing. and when in doubt, neutral is always best.I need some new eyeshadow and don't know what to buy?
Honestly brands dont really matter. i freaking bought eyeshadow from the 99cents store and they work soooo well (: i love em.





but if you are going to pick a color pick a really neutral color that doesnt even have to match your outfit precisely but just looks good on you. i would say a subtle color like a light goldenish color if you're tan, a light pink if youre white, and a lighttt lightt redish color if youre dark.





but if you do want to coordinate your eyeshadow with your clothes (I WOULD recommend only doing this for special occasions) i would defffffff recommend these eyeshadows they are reallly cheap and WORK SO WELL. and there are soo many colors. its from the brand coastal scents. here let me give you the site:

The Urban Decay Baked collection eyeshadow looks really pretty over brown eyes, and Urban Decay also makes a lot of color palates with a lot of variety.
I have brown eyes and I like to use brown, purple, dark green, gold, silver, black, and bronze.
dont use colored eye shadow guys dont like that
