How do you stop liquid eyeshadow from rubbing off?


i mean i apply it then about 10 mins later i find it has rubbed off and i have patches of my eyelid showing through. It get's so annoying coz i have to reapply it through the day. Does anyone know how i can stop it from rubbing off? I would use powder eyeshadow but i can't find the colours so does anyone know a good eyeshadow powder range that comes in soft metalic colours such as a shades of gold's or a dark rose pink that gives a bit of sparkle?? but really i'd love to know how to stop my liquid eyeshadow from comming off!!!

Invest in a good bottle of Urban Decays Primer potion. This stuff makes my eyeshadows last the whole day. It also doesnt make my eye makeup crease and makes application and blending a breeze.How do you stop liquid eyeshadow from rubbing off?
you need to use a primer, that will keep all your eye make up in place! i use Urban Decay shadow primer... you can get it at sephora.com or beauty.com (its a sub store of drugstore.com i've shopped there before, its safe ). its a REALLY good product!! It is a little pricey, 16 dollars per bottle, but, its worth it! =)
Apply a primer on your eyelid before the shadow, this keeps the makeup in place so it doesn't rub off like you are saying.
