I heard somewhere that there was something you can use with eyeshadow and an angled brush to create liquid eyeliner, I was wondering (I think it was called glycerin) if it was possible to make or wear to buy it?How do I use eyeshadow as liquid eyeliner?
Well its called a mixing medium. You can make it at home without spending much. here are steps:
What you'll need:
- Glycerin .
- A small funnel to transfer it into your empty container.
- A measuring cup or spoons.
- A bowl or container to mix the glycerin and water.
- Empty container.
For 1/4 Glycerin, you must put 3/4 water
STEP 1:
Measure and pour the right amount of Glycerin into your bowl, then add the water.
STEP 2:
Stir...
STEP 3:
Get your empty container...
STEP 4:
Get your funnel and place it in the mouth of the bottle, then with a steady hand, pour your mixing medium into the bottle
%26amp; VOILA!!!!!!!!! its ready to be used...
take 1 or 2 drops on your hand (upper) %26amp; mix it with the eyeshadow, use an angel brush for the perfect look.....How do I use eyeshadow as liquid eyeliner?
You can use an angled brush or use the tip of a wet eyeshadow applicator.

Too Faced Eye Shadow Liquifier
Just use it on aaaaany eye shadow to instantly turn it into eyeliner.
Yes, it is possible. You do need a specific product to do it right. I know that a few different companies make one. I believe MAC has one, but I am most familiar with the one by Smashbox. It works great. I have ordered it from Sephora's website before, but try it directly from the Smashbox website too. It is a really fun addition to your make-up collection.
There are a few products out there that work, but I have tried them all and the one that I think works best is Transformer by Paula Dorf. It turns any shadow into a liquid liner and it stays on ALL DAY! Some Macy's or Nordstrom have a Paula Dorf counter, but you can also order it online at pauladorf.com. It's $18.00 a bottle but totally worth it because you only use a few drops at a time so the bottle lasts for a really long time!
well just use a thin brush dip in water then lightly dab it in eyeshadow this sort of ruins the eye shadow so keep it on one side if u can and then There you go liquid eyeliner ahah ive never heard of this glycerin technique
I don't think the angle brush will make liquid. Unless you find the magic angle brush that magically turns the eyeshadow into liquid eyeliner. Good luck fairy princess....
i think thqat you should get a little bit of what ewyeshadow you want and mix it with a tiny bit of water and crush adding more water along the way this will make it into a paste then on the back of your hand practise doing it in a straight line the your redii to go GOOD LUCK xx
It is really not as difficult as all that. Dip a wet (more damp that soaking) eyeliner brush into your eyeshadow. Voila! It will go on liquid and intense. I have been doing this for years, and I haven't had any problems.
Yes it is possible.. I use it all the time! Napeoleon do one but you use the loose dust and cake eyeliner sealer. Put a tiny amount of loosed dust into the lid of the container and 1-2 drops of sealer. Mix it with the liner brush. U can use an angled brush but i find it easier to use the liner brush. This turns it into a liquid liner.. there is every colour imaginable and stays on alkl day or night.
There is a new brand called Inglot that also does the same thing but you can also use the colour disks as well as the loose dust.
u cant
There are a few products you can use to mix with your eyeshadow with to create a paint like liquid liner for your angled brush. Also, I wouldn't use water...it makes the consistency of the liner too runny and watered down looking.
1. MAC Mixing Medium
2. Too Faced Liquify Liner
3. Visine :D Yes...it actually works really good and keeps the eyeshadow color you're using true and pigmented. Plus, it's a lot cheaper than MAC and Too Faced. I suggest trying Visine before spending the extra money on the other 2 options.
