I have dark brown/kinda green eyes but you can't see the green unless you're looking at my eyes really closely.
Anyways, I've been using brown on my eyes because that's all I know that looks good. I'm scared to try other colors lol.
I'm going up to the store in a minute...what colors should I buy? What duos or trios look best for brown eyes?
And what eyeliner? Because I've been using black.What color eyeshadow should I buy?
from the way you are describing your eye color, it sounds exactly like my friend's eye color. what she does, is uses a neutral eyeliner like brown or black. then she makes her eyes really pop with colors like purple, blue, and green. it really brings out her eyes. i would suggest a dark, shimmery green so you won't look too 80s. [unless thats the look your going for, then get a bright neon green.] before you apply the eyeshadow, put a thin, even layer of chapstick on your eyelid. that will really help bring the color out and help the eyeshadow stay on for longer. [it sounds wierd but it totally works.] the green eyeshadow would bring out the green in your eyes. dark blue eyeshadow would also look pretty. another pretty color would be brown/gold.
ALSO- almay makes great mascara that is a really subtle green that helps bring out green in people's eyes.

OK I have dark brown eyes too. They have mainly gold specks and some deep I guess, reddish looking specks as well. So I know that any eyeshadows with those bases look fantastic. So I would go with your green, use a seagreen with a darker green as a contour. Maybelline make a duo that I use.... i forgot the name of it but, its light green and dark green. =)
For a contrasting look, go with a blue, because that looks good with the brown with green specks.
As for eyeliner, keep with black for drama. But a chocolate or a color that matches your brown in your eyes for a softer look.
If you want to try new colors, don't be scared!! Almost any color looks good with brown eyes. However, to bring out the green in them, I would use a medium-purple color over the eyelid, up to the crease. Lightly add a pale lavender color from the crease up to the eyebrow. Use dark brown liner on the upper and lower lids. In the inner corner of your eyes use a little plain white eyeshadow to brighten the eyes. Add some brown-black mascara. Good luck!
If you have brown eyes (or any stretch of that) don't wear super light colors. It looks awkward. Try earthier colors--like an olive green that's not too garish.
As far as liner goes, black goes well with anyone, but specifically blue-eyed to green-eyed people. Try a chocolate brown or a reddish color.
it is ok just be yourself when you wear it just make sure that the eye shadow matches your outfit because you wouldn't want to look like a rainbow.or u can just go by whaever your favorite color is and like i said before make sure that matches.as well as for the eye liner as well or u can get some of the same colors but just in different shades so they can stand out.
I have the same color eyes, and I use a brown eyeliner. It looks really good. For eyeshadow, use either a lavender purple, a rich brown, or a dusty orange-ish color. It looks awesome.
If I were you, I would use brown eyeliner, because it looks more natural, but it still makes your eyes stand out. As for the eyeshadow, try a light brown/bronze color, and add a little bit of shimmer. :-)

brown eyliner will bring out brown eyes but did you say you had green eyes? why not try bying green eyshadow to go with ur eyes?
